Property Worx Maintenance & Construction began in October 2023 with a simple idea rooted in service, integrity, and hard work. Founder Chris Jackson, formerly a Vice President at an electrical/mechanical firm and a licensed North Carolina General Contractor, started the business as a small side project—handling repairs and construction support for a local real estate firm’s clients. What began modestly quickly grew into something much larger than expected.

Those early months were defined by long nights, weekend work, and an unwavering commitment to doing every job the right way. Within three months, Chris purchased a 16' utility trailer—something he never imagined a side job would make possible. Though humble, it marked the beginning of a company built on grit, honesty, and faith.

By early 2024, Property Worx secured a small industrial office renovation that required additional hands. Through a subcontractor connection on that same project, the team was awarded a contract with a school in central North Carolina, kick-starting a season of rapid growth. By fall of 2024, Patrick Woodcock joined the company, bringing additional experience, leadership, and passion to the team.

From there, Property Worx expanded beyond basic repairs into a full-service construction organization supported by a team known for their knowledge, character, professionalism, and exceptional work ethic. The company grew to more than 15 employees and established specialized divisions in residential, commercial, and industrial construction. In April 2025, Property Worx officially launched its Industrial Services Division, further broadening its capabilities.

A defining milestone came in October 2025 when Property Worx achieved Unlimited status as a North Carolina Licensed General Contractor. Chris Jackson, the company’s qualifier, also holds the NASCLA certification, enabling the company to obtain general contracting licensure across 17 U.S. states and the Virgin Islands. This achievement reflects the company’s ongoing drive to grow, innovate, and serve at the highest level.
